Grensol's patented, breakthrough process — developed in collaboration with some of the world's top materials science research labs — effectively separates the three primary components of ASR: metals, minerals, and polymers. The recovered materials are of sufficiently high quality to be recycled or upcycled as replacements for virgin raw materials across a wide range of manufacturing processes. This unlocks a previously untapped resource stream that would otherwise go to waste through landfill or incineration.
They are also working with industry partners to adapt their solution for other challenging waste streams, such as electronic scrap and demolition waste plastics.
Their deployment model uses modular micro-recycling centers that integrate directly ('drop-in') at existing industrial sites where such waste is aggregated. This maximizes efficiency in logistics and resource use, making recycling as seamless and scalable as traditional waste disposal.
