EIT RawMaterials Summit 2026: Secondary Raw Materials for a Sustainable Thermoelectrics Ecosystem
The START project bolsters EU resilience by replacing scarce, imported tellurium with domestic mine waste (tetrahedrite mineral) from European sites, fostering strategic independence through a sustainable, pan-European thermoelectric ecosystem. The session features four introductory speeches detailing the project's outcomes, followed by a 30' roundtable on European mine wastes as strategic sources of Critical Raw Materials.
