Jan Moström, President and Chief Executive Officer at LKAB since 2015. LKAB is a Swedish mining company and Europe's largest iron ore producer, accounting for about 80 % of the iron ore production in Europe. Since 2023, Jan Moström has been President of Euromines and he is also Chairman of the Swedish Mining Association, Svemin. Mr. Moström has had a long career as mining manager at Boliden AB and between 2005 and 2015, he was President of Business Area Mines at Boliden AB, responsible for the operation of all of Boliden’s mines. Jan Moström graduated as mining engineer in 1988 at The Swedish School of Mining and Metallurgy (Bergsskolan) in Filipstad, Sweden, and has dedicated his professional life and career to the mining industry. In 2023, Mr. Moström was appointed Honorary Doctor in Technology at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden.
