Mika Seitovirta is Chief Regional Officer: Europe since December 2021 at Sibanye-Stillwater. Sibanye-Stillwater is a multinational mining and metals processing group with a diverse portfolio of projects and investments across five continents. The Group is also one of the foremost global recyclers of PGM autocatalysis. The Group has recently begun to build and diversify its asset portfolio into battery metals mining and processing and is increasing its presence in the circular economy by growing and diversifying its recycling and tailings reprocessing operations globally. Mika graduated from Vaasa University in 1985 with a Master of Science in Economy. Mika has gained extensive international experience through his senior leadership roles in global companies across a wide range of industries. He has previously served as CEO of Outokumpu Oyj (2011-2015) and Glaston Corporation (2007-2010), as Managing Director of Hartwall Oyj/Scottish & Newcastle PLC (2003-2006) and various leadership roles at Volvo Auto (1989-2003). In addition to his current roles as Executive Chairman of Keliber Oy, and Chairman of Metroauto Oy, Mika has also served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Ferrovan Oy and as a Senior Advisor and Executive Coach for the Boston Consulting Group Inc.
