Born in 1981, Simone Manfredi, obtained his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering in 2009 at the Technical University of Denmark. In the same year, he joined the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), where, since 2014, he acted as project leader of the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS), the EC’s reference knowledge platform on sustainable raw materials supply chains.
