Andrea works in the External Affairs function of SQM, engaging with stakeholders of the global battery  value chain, with a focus on Europe. His role stands at the intersection between public affairs,  communication and corporate sustainability. His expertise includes advocacy and stakeholder management with policymakers, industry associations, NGOs and media. Prior to joining SQM in 2023, he held a variety of roles in different Brussels’ based organisations advocating on energy and environmental policies towards the EU institutions. He earned a Bachelor degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Catholic  University of Milan (2016) and Master degree in EU Politics from the London School of Economics (2017).
