Erick PETIT, an Arts&Métiers engineer, heads up the industrial deep tech company MagREEsource, the French and European Champion in permanent magnets. He co-founded the company with Sophie Rivoirard, ex CNRS-Institut Néel in 2020.

His career combines solid professional experience in the metallurgy industry for major European groups ( ARCELOR, ERAMET, PECHINEY) before engineering in Africa and Middle East major water infrastructures.

A commited advocate for European technological sovereignty and sustainable development in critical metals and specifically in Rare Earths, he based MagREEsource's strategy on a circular model that is faster and more flexible than the mining sector, with a vertical and innovative integration to control all aspects of the technologies with European partners.
