Riccardo Momoli is Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Circular Materials, a European deep-tech company industrialising the recovery of critical and strategic metals from industrial wastewater streams.

With 15 years of experience scaling industrial businesses, and a background spanning the oil and gas industry, advanced materials manufacturing and wastewater recycling, he leads revenue strategy, strategic partnerships, non-dilutive financing and European expansion at Circular Materials. His work sits at the intersection of technology deployment, market enablement and regulatory frameworks, supporting the development of circular raw materials hubs at commercial scale.

He serves as project promoter of RECOVER-IT, recognised as a Strategic Project under the EU Critical Raw Materials Act, and is actively engaged in EU-level discussions on End-of-Waste criteria, cross-border material flows and the role of circular recovery in Europe’s industrial autonomy.

His focus is on translating breakthrough process innovation into bankable infrastructure aligned with European policy objectives and long-term supply chain resilience.
